Sreelakshmi has been awarded her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kerala on the topic ”Multi-Model Machine Learning Approaches for Landslide Identification and Quantitative Risk Analysis”. She also obtained her M.Phil. in Computer Science with a specialization in Digital Image Processing from the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K), affiliated to the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). Additionally, she earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science from Kannur University, as well as a Master of Arts in Psychology from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, India. Her primary research interest is in advanced computer vision techniques, for social good applications. She has to her credit several high-impact publications in international journals, international conferences, and book chapters.
